KINESIO TAPING

In sports medicine - for football / soccer players, tennis players, volleyball, cyclists, equestrians - for top athletes or sport enthusiasts, taping is everywhere.

The Kinesio Tape (kinesis = movement) supports the structures of the skin and the underlying structures of the muscles, ligaments, tendons and joints to relieve pain and improve range of motion.

The efficacy of taping can be supported by combining taping treatments with acupuncture and/or Tuina (chinese massage).

Taping stimulates the skin’s sensory systems—pain, perception of movement and sense of touch—and also positively engages the underlying structures (such as lymph system and blood flow). Taping techniques support strength and stability in the desired area.
